Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Another thing that strikes me as odd is I can't seem to figure out what the approval letter looks like for people who applied for FLR(FP)? Why is it different to the one we receive when we apply for FLR(M) We get an email from Home Office Atlas saying our FLR(M) was successful but no mention of the...

Re: BRP card surname hyphen missing

Don't worry I'm sure they will respond. I did get a similar email about the BRP delivery as well. That email that you got where the BRP is on the way is for the first BRP. You will probably get another similar email for the second BRP as well like I did. When I received my second decision email (af...

Re: BRP card surname hyphen missing

Hi, I have received my BRP card and my double-barreled surname has the hyphen missing (written "X Y" instead of "X-Y"). I reported to the UKVI just in case this is a problem. A few days after I received 3 consecutive emails from Home Office stating that my visa application is su...

Re: FLR(M) Decision Email - No Paper Letter?

It's normal FLR M is the 5 year route. The 10 year route is FLR FP. Thank you for answering 🙂 I was wondering where that can be confirmed on the government website or within the immigration law? For example when checking if you're eligible for ILR it says check your last decision letter and it shou...

FLR(M) Decision Email - No Paper Letter?

Hi I have noticed that I haven't received a paper decision letter the same as my last FLR(M) which confirms things like the 5 year route.. etc. I have received an email from Home Office Atlas confirming this "Your application under the Partner (FLR M) route of the Immigration Rules has been suc...

Re: SET(M) Life in the UK Test Question

Hi As I will be applying for indefinite leave to remain in 2 years time, I started preparing for the life in the UK Test. Re: FLR(M) Replacement BRP Urgent Help - Police Registration

Hello I just wanted to provide an update on this situation. After contacting the BRP error team they replied to me today saying that I should ignore the police registration as it was an admin mistake and they apologized for the inconvenience caused. I have now received my new BRP and it's all fixed!...

Don’t worry about late police registrations.
Thank you very much for taking the time to help me. I will update you all on what happens next. Hopefully it all works out whether I have to register or not.

Re: FLR(M) Replacement BRP Urgent Help - Police Registration

1. I think the police would need to see a physical BRP when registering you. 2. No, if you had received notification that you no longer need to register, then you may stop registering. If you had not received any notification to reregister, then there is no requirement to reregister. 3. I think the...

Re: FLR(M) Replacement BRP Urgent Help - Police Registration

326 (3) gives them powers to impose a condition to register with the police on practically any foreign national with limited leave. If you received two inconsistent emails, then I suspect one of them is in error. I agree that their spelling mistake correction shouldn’t result in a reinstatement of ...

I'm concerned because what strikes me as odd is the decision email lists all of my conditions and police registration is not one of them. Yet an email from the BRP error team says otherwise. If the online form generated a non-changeable fee amount, then it was beyond your control to change it. Then I think you have a reasonable defence.
Okay great, that's what I thought. Thanks Vinny. :)
