Hi aspirant09

Congrats on getting ILR.

Is it must to take dependants along. Do they check whether dependants are there or not?

Also do the salary slips have to be immediately previous 12 months or can they be any 12 months in last 15 months(thats what documentation says)

Re: ILR success at Croydon, WP + Tier 2 ICT, 3 dependants

Got my ILR today. Here is my experience. Appointment was at 12 PM. Arrived at Lunar House at 11:20 AM, but they wouldn't let me in until 11:30 PM. Did not take any of my dependents with me. After airport style checks including removal of my belt, I was let in and first went to a counter where some ...

Well there have been two successes of JR on restrospective changes: 1. Related to hsmp changes being applied retrospectively. 2. ILR rule of 5 years being applied retrospectively and the basis for win in this case was that the documents on hsmp said that ILF would be granted in 4 years. So on same l...

1.I suggest not to leave reference number empty. Instead use the reference number on your latest home office leave to remain letter. 2. You dont need anything else if your degree is shown in points calculator. However if you want it as an additional doc. you can get naric letter by paying £40.Its fa...

There is no need of any letter from university at all. If your university is listed in home office data base (i.e if you are able to select your university in points calculator) just dont need any other proof. As mentioned earlier it is clearly stated in guidance notes. http://immigrationadviceandas...

do not risk leaving your current jobs without having job offer in hand. Try to get interviews lined up sitting in India and then come for interviews taking leave from current job so that in case things dont work out you have something in hand still.

Business or job related travel as long as you are on payroll of UK company and are being paid regular salary is exempt from being counted absence for ILR etc. So as long as you are employed by UK company and are getting paid regular salary you should be ok. http://immigrationadviceandassistance.blog...

I hope you are coming with a job in hand. Otherwise its too risky.

You can get matrix sim card in India itself. Check out on net.

Have you decided what city you want to stay in? London is too costly.

best option in today's time is to keep researching UK job market for your skills through websites like cwjobs.co.uk and jobserve.co.uk . It all depends on skills and its requirement here. There are still good openings in niche skills still. Do not risk leaving your current job without having offer i...
