It purely depends on your intentions about your future. 1.If you are thinking about ILR etc. go for UK employment. 2.If you are not at all inclined on ILR or are more inclined on returning home after earning for some time then go for other option. Dont panic too much about it. Just go to any self service photo booths which gives passport size photos or go to a studio and ask for passport size photo. It will be fine.

Earnings proof can not be other country account but maintainance funds can be. make sure you included reasons for holding account in that country.

If you stay out of UK more than 90 days continuously,your tier1 or hsmp effectively becomes useless as you cant enter again then on this visa. No chance of extension at all. Do some research on HO website and you will get the proof.

I had received my refrence number 2 days after my application reached HO. It doesnt mean that it has been assigned to a case worker.It goes into queue waiting to be assigned to case worker.

Looks like there is a freeze on approvals.I havent seen anyone telling about approval in about last one week. Lets hope for best.

Please if anyone checks the status from HO update here.

I called up HO today and after enquiring on my ref no. the person told me that my application is waiting in queue to be assigned to a case worker. So looks like its going to take couple of more weeks for sure. Check with them on your status and let me know.

sending passport in post is illegal. Dont take that risk.
