Appreciate your input, Directive/2004/38/EC. Apologies - I did not see the replies to this thread until just now. You are absolutely wrong. Just because the EU national can exercise residency rights from day one does not make him a resident. This is your fatal error. I do not need to read the legislation. As I told you repeating it doesn't mean you have interpreted it or analyzed it which you clearly have fail...

Again not the question The question is can the non eu spouse work for the one day the eu non resident is in the country, its no. GET IT? You say the question is: Can the non-EEA national spouse work for the one day the EU national non-resident is in the country. Are we agreed on that, at least? Spl...

So? What I say stands. republique, seriously, are you just pulling my leg now or not? Answer me this: If an EEA national is resident in the UK on a self-sufficient basis, their non-EEA national spouse is working, do you think an application for a Residence Card submitted by the non-EEA spouse would...

Re: Carpenter ruling

Perhaps a different approch would be beneficial. Why don't you register a company in Norway that automatically gives you the right to exercise reverse comunity rights i.e sell your services to other EEA countries without you having to take up residence in that country (which I understand is not you...

Re: Does salaried income have to take into account business

that makes no sense unless you are self employed vs director of a ltd company. It has nothing to do with an accountant, it has to do with basic concepts which you should have a grasp of even if you use a professional. Based on your comments, you don't appear to understand how the tax system in my c...

Re: Does salaried income have to take into account business

Why would it take into account business loss?? Business entity is different from individual entity. These are basic concepts for which if you don't know perhaps you shouldn't be running a business. I'm not an accountant (which is why I have one to prepare my accounts). I am aware that these are sep...

Re: Does salaried income have to take into account business

You dont have to show you accounts and company details if you are claiming points on salaried employee basis. As you said you have never taken any salary or dividend from your company then the information about company is irelevant! Hope that helps. Great, a bit less paperwork for me then. Thank yo...

I have read that HO can revoke anyones Citizenship. So before taking the plunge into Naturalisation, I would like to know 1) if the person is orginally from India, and the UK HO after naturalisation revokes or removes his Naturalisation after a few months/years for whatever reasons. Will the person...
