Delay in OCI tracking

Hi all,
OCI tracking doesnt seem to be acknowledging applications even up to 3 wks from being received at the mission. Any one who has not had this issue from HCI London recenly, thanks

You need ID and address proof in UK ( license and utility bill will do) or India , photos and a duly filled form, along with the required fees.Your current PP with valid visa is of course required as well.
You do not not need any other documents.

You need put both the UK Passport number and the Application number. It takes more than 2 wks for this to show up, if you sent it by post.

First, its illegal to hold valid Indian and British passport, from Indian govt point of view. I am presuming the Indian passport has expired. Your mother needs to surrender her Indian passport first, obtain a surrender certificate and then both of you can apply for OCI. The fee can be paid in person...

The fee went up in April this year.Thus there were unprecendented number of applications until end of March. The backlog seems to have cleared only a couple of months ago.

Just do as it says, write or type the reply, it doesnt matter. Mention the reference of the original letter, also its asking you to use the label on the same enevelope, if you do not want to use a new one.
