>>Hi
Here's a new one. Can I still apply to HCI London (afresh) if I have already registered for part A of OCI application with CGI Birrmingjam, which I did before coming across this forum:-(. Any replies would be much appreciated.>>
>>I had applied online for OCI on 03-Sep-2012 and the application through post reach the london office on 05-Sep-2012. The status page still shows as 'Application with this number not yet Acknowledged or Wrong Passport Number.'. Does anyone who applied through Post with similar timelines have any pr...
If youre already an Indian citizen, you do not need a visa. On acquiring British passport, you automatically lose Indian citizenship, hence have to surrender Indian passport. See the VFS site for further details.
What do you want to do? 1.Return to Australia- shoudnt be any problem, you are a citizen there 2.Visit Netherlands- Check the validity of your Schengen visa whether it is multiple entry, if valid you can go 3.You want to extend your visa in UK- if on visitor visa you will have to return to Australia...
>The condition is that the child cannot apply for OCI unless applying together with adult>
No, one parent has to have non-Indian citizenship ie be eligible for OCI.

The applications for my children were recd on 6/8/12. Tracking still says wrong PP number or not acknowledged. Its the standard response if mission has not allocated a file number. it used to be 7-8 days last year but doesnt seems so now, any one have similar issues with postal application?
Hi all,
OCI tracking doesnt seem to be acknowledging applications even up to 3 wks from being received at the mission. Any one who has not had this issue from HCI London recenly, thanks
You need ID and address proof in UK ( license and utility bill will do) or India , photos and a duly filled form, along with the required fees.Your current PP with valid visa is of course required as well.
You do not not need any other documents.
Your son is eligible for British Citizenship now, you will have to apply next year but you havent got it yet. There isnt much you can do now. If you are going to settle in India, why do you want to be British citizens? You want to take the British Citizenship but want your son to retain Indian citiz...
