I took copies that were verified by the bank and nothing was said.We got our ILR no questions asked about any of our documents so i think you will be ok.Have heard other people who took copies as well and thy had no problems.

Went to Croydon on Thursday for my hubby ILR, everything went well,first went through security,then you are marched to anothr section to hand over your application form and life in the uk test,that is checked and you are given a number then you head upstairs to make your payment.Wait for your number...

If you have an letters from immigration it will be on there but don't worry if not.We went today and were successful in getting our ILR.It went straight forward and they were nice and friendly.Such a relief it is all over.

I too have got stuck on this,i think they mean reference number which might be on any letters that have been sent to you from them,i can only see there reference number and case numbers so have decided to leave it blank.

I think this needs checking,i have heard that the visa is a 2 year spouse visa and the 2 years starts from when they enter the uk. Hi,It all depends on which country you are from some are quicker than others but it usually takes about 6-8 weeks for the BHC to contact you to collect visa.

As you have your ILR i believe you are entitled to claim benefits.
The child tax credits have to be claimed in both yours and your wifes name ie joint claim.This does not effect your wifes visa.child benefit can be claimed in your name only.
