Re: Graduate visa dependents

1. [...]will it impact if the dependents application is completed few days after main applicant [...] No. 2. Doesn't seem to be a question here, just a statement. The error with IHS came from you overthinking it. You just need to give the date 2 years from today, not 2 years from the future expiry ...

Re: Student Dependant Visa

Questions that her course has started in December 2023 and can she bring her husband to the UK on her student visa as the course started in December not Jan after Intake. I fear you are confusing your friend by trying to be an amateur visa adviser. Which is illegal, by the way. She can check it for...

Re: Regraded from PhD to MPhil - Visa Refused

My university was aware of this that the new CAS they issued was meant for an application in the UK. Apparently the reason for the refusal is because there is no academic progress (from RQF 8 to RQF 7). Does anyone know if the rules apply the same for an application to switch made from outside UK? ...

Re: Parent of a child student visa

Also you said that if I live normally in my home country and plan to return I can show the relevant evidence. My main question is what are those evidence? About part 2, I cannot rent a place in the UK before receiving the visa (due to the right to rent rules). So, how can I show it? Again, these ar...

the above requirements are very vague and unclear. They are not vague and unclear, they are left open to allow for people in different situations to be eligible. It is helpful, not unhelpful. The evidence that you personally show will depend on your personal situation. -the applicant should prove t...

Re: Dependent child visa - urgent help

Some say it could be a month before my student leave expires, some say it needs to be at least 6 months before and some say at least 9 months before the leave expires. Who are these people, where are they quoting these deadlines from, and what is their credibility for giving you visa advice anyway?...

This is for him to discuss with his university. Most universities will be flexible with the start date when there are visa delays.

There is nothing you or anyone here can do about it.

Re: Graduate Visa (PSW) Query (DUI)

Will a DUI hinder their PSW applicatuon if convicted of the crime? As a university student you have access to free professional visa advice through the university, so I recommend asking them. If you prefer to do your own research, you can look at the General Grounds for Refusal, criminality grounds...

Re: Student Dependant Visa

Whether they can bring a dependant depends on the type of dependant, the level of the course, and the start date of the course. All three aspects are explained clearly at the information and application portal, under...

Re: Current PSW rules

If the rules for the Graduate visa do change and the offer is reduced in either scope or length of time or both, it is possible that there will be some sort of protection for Students who are already in the UK. If that did happen, it would probably be aimed at protecting the reputation of universiti...
