Many educational establishments have yet to apply for their tier 4 licence. I would not be too worried at this time.

The termination of a WP is employer based and if the employer informs UKBA through the use of the form they are supposed to use then the employee is in the 28 day zone. The 28 day zone applies as that is the period of time for the individual to seek a new CoS. Failing to achieve that makes them an o...

The simple answer is no BUT given that the money has to be demonstrated and that it is available to you it would be expected that the money is able to be traced to the account in the longer term. In other words suddenly appearing from "no where" is going to cause concerns as to where and how the mon...

That really depends on your relationship with the sponsor. If it is Uncle Tom then no amount of money in his account is going to get you through. If it is Mum & Dad then you are in a safer zone. However it has to be fairly clear that the money will be avialble to you.

There is every chance they will query your earnings if it is obvious that you have worked more hours than 20 per week during term time. It all depends if they have enough information to query the point. If you have worked for an employer that has declared your earnings then there will be a small cha...

That is a very interesting point - had a discussion on that very matter last week. The immigration rules suggest that the employer has the upper hand as they can terminate your employment and inform UKBA of such. As the WP is employer based then once they no longer employ you your leave to remain ce...

He has zero chance of getting to stay on in the UK under a student visa.
Basically he has used deception to attempt to gain a PSW visa so he is very likely to be on a mandatory ban when / if he try’s again.

No adverse effect on tier 2 if Tier 1 (general) refused.

Obviously if it is refused due to maintenance then the same problem would be faced for Tier 2.

I have read the information and quote the OP I travelled to UK in 2006 on W permit.During this there was a conviction on me and I had to pay a fine and had a statement of discharge. Statement of discharge was for a year which ended in 2007 Now there was another application made to the UK in 2007 w/o...

Sorry if you do not like my tone. Immigration abusers are not my cup of tea either. To enter the UK you need to overcome your mandatory 10 year ban for previously employing deception to enter the UK. The question you pose is not going to get a different answer a few months down the line, that is wha...

Do you have £800 or the foreign equivalent in a saving account that covers the last few months?
If so you will be fine. You can submit any account in your own or joint name to show the requirement, UK or overseas.
You do not have to use your current account as evidence.

Very good of Ms Lambe to mention tier 5 - some of us got there a long time ago - that would be 2nd November 2008 to be precise ....... As for future entry, no matter what method you try to employ the result will end up the same - a refusal. Work permits finish on 27th November, a promoter will be ab...

so how about those? who got PSW through ccl earlier. Dodgy people get away but whoever genuine, they are stuck in this drama. In DIUS website, it is mentioned that listed bodies are those who deliver courses for time being that lead to degrees awarded by recognised bodies. In that sense, ccl was in...

If you return to study, as this individual did, and qualify as a graduate you still can apply for PSW. You can not have two bites at the cherry under any of the previous or new schemes. So it was ok to have FTS then study / graduate then take advantage of the PSW scheme. FTS scheme was more generous...

Totally agree with PaperPusher. Given your immigration history I would hold out very little hope of getting the entry visa. Handing out the Tier 5 COS from the promoter is a ten a penny thing, it in no way influences the entry clearance decision by the ECO. You still have to qualify for entry in you...

More than likely to be the same idiot as EliteDuck & ElitePig..... so looking for support from those posters is not going to help you.
