HI Directive My partner and I are unmarried. However, I am not concerned about the ILR. The EEA2, which I am applying for, will last for 5 years. By that time, it would be our 10 year anniversary which is when we plan to marry. And I've 'clocked' it back to zero so many times already. I've been on a...

You can ask for your visa back. However, I have been told by my solicitor that as my Tier 1 visa has expired (I am waiting for an EEA2 so my expired Tier 1 visa legally continues on as I wait for the EEA2), I should not leave the UK because the continuation of my expired tier 1 will no longer be val...

Hi Chokedup

Mine was signed by the 'General Group Managed Migration Directorate'; it's not signed by an individual. It could be because my application was processed by my solicitor. Did you apply yourself or via a solicitor?

You have to make sure your visa does not expire whilst you are on holidays or you won't be able to get back into the UK. As long as your visa is still valid, i think you will be fine.

COngrats Ollie! If you don't mind me asking, why did you ask for your passport back? Did you need it urgently/seriously, or was it so your visa could get processed quicker?

company stamp and electronic bank statement

My company does not have a company stamp so I have gotten the accountant to write a letter stating that the payslips are genuine and that the company does not have an official stamp. He also signed each payslip, will this be sufficient? Also, I have gotten the bank to stamp each page of my electroni...

joint account maintenance funds

Hi

I noted on the UKBA Tier 1 extension guidance, it stated that I can use joint statements to prove my maintenance funds. I will be renewing my own teier visa (without any dependents) shortly. Can I still use the joint bank account or is it only for people who apply with their dependents

thanks

Tier 1 extension

HI
I am returning to England to apply for my Tier 1 visa extension. I am planning to apply the day I return so I won't be working yet. Will this cause any problems for my application?

Is it a pre-requisite to be in employment when you are applying for an extension?

which application form to use for tier 1 visa extension

Hi My tier 1 visa was issued in Oct 2008 and expires in Oct 2011. I had a look at the UK BA website and could only locate the form on this page: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingintheuk/tier1/general/applying/applicationform/extensionform/ However, on the actual pdf form, it says that 'This ...

Tier 1 extension

HI

I am in Australia and will be returning to the UK in September. My tier 1 expires in October. I wanted to apply for my tier 1 extension on the first week of Sept when I arrive however, I won't have a job at the time of application. Will this cause any problems? Am I still allowed to apply?
