If it is more than 3 months since his date of naturalisation (certificate date), he has to apply for naturalisation again.

Otherwise, just book a private or public ceremony within the 3 months deadline.

First thing first, do you have a letter from university saying your degree was taught in English? If you have that, you do not need ELA. does your degree give you points in PBS? I can not comment on MN process as we were settled when the child was born and he qualified for british citizenship by birth.
