Hi desertlord,

This certainly looks like your approval. Can you remind us of your application timeline, including the method of application you used?

What is the age of the child?
Was the child born in the UK?
If not, how long have they been in the UK?

Re: photo query

It does say glue, but I wondered this too, since it had been different other application types, so I took my photo unglued to the NCS appointment saying I couldn't find a gluestick.
The NCS checker glued it for me, so clearly the HO are expecting it glued.

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Hi rikken, To be honest there isn't much incentive for me to do December at the moment. Firstly, there isn't much of a story to tell on it yet and secondly I'm a mid-November applicant, so I've only been collecting the raw data up to the end of Nov. If I'm still waiting when December approvals start...

Re: October 2013 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

A pleasure missnorush! I applied only 3 days before you did, so let's see. For my own application I'm retaining hope of getting a decision before the end of January. That's probably a best case scenario for a mid-November app right now.

They don't need to be a professional, but if not then they must be over 25 years of age. Either way they must hold a British passport.

Re: Acknowledgement of Citizenship application

I have posted my application of British Citizenship and tracking shows it has been received on 26th October 2013, but I haven't received acknowledgement of receiving it. It has been more than 2 months. On UK Border website, it says "it will take 4 weeks to receive acknowledgement letter", what shou...

Fees vary as well, so if you have a few NCS services within reach (e.g. if you live in London) you can pick on price.

For the record, what the HO are looking for there is the case reference number from any previous application you have made along your route to citizenship. When you made a previous application for a visa or for ILR, it would have been on any letter that you received from the HO regarding it. As ment...
