Actually this is the same question that I want to ask. I am from Pakistan and recently awarded an initial spouse visa for 2 years. What is the difference in laws or processes, if we adopt here from Pakistan, as to if we adopt a kid from the UK? In addition, i would also like to know about what barku...

A mention of your good behaivour at work  This should suffice, and make sure its on a piece of paper out of ...

del piero - The call might never come, as in my case. I waited for a week after the status changed at the website, and I just went. The passport was there for 4 days, so you should give it a try and go. I guess your right, my wife is going down tomorrow regardless of us getting the call or not. Goo...

Exactly. What vinny is saying :P, in layman's terms, is that only fresh evidence you can provide should be to consolidate the facts at the time of the refusal. For example, if you had forgotten to add a couple of payslips then, they could have been put in, but you cant put in evidence which does not...

Well, that's not too difficult as I went through a similar situation. All you have to do is take the english version to a solicitor in the district court of Toba Tek Singh. There are two ppossibilities now: 1. You got married by a Nikkah registrar. In that case, take the Nikkah molvi along with his ...

Exactly, the age at the time of the marriage has no consequence whatsoever. Its the age of both of you when you make an application which matters. However, in my opinion, if you make your application before 27th November, when the new rule would be in effect, I think you can get away with being less...

kam1 : She should go anyway, if the website says, the passport is ready for collection. I did not get any sort of call. The irony was that i called the VAC myself to confirm that the website says the passport is ready and should i go, and funnily, they said, its not ready. I thought what the hell, a...
