I believe you send the review request to the same address where the visa application was sent, but I could be wrong.

Re: UK tier 5 visa priority service

Applications made in the States and paying for premium should be done within about 3 working days, but you have to add on the time for the passport to be flown around (the courier etc.).

Re: An urgent answer is requested.

By the way it's highly unusual to carry out an RLMT in the entertainment sector, especially where an act is concerned (rather than an individual). Usually you could be able to prove that the act is a unit company which has performed together overseas OR is of international status (fairly famous). Th...

Re: Got Tier 5 visa but entry stamp expires, can enter on tourist visa?

I'm afraid this is yet another example of the fact the 1-month visa stamp is a broken system that is too restrictive. It would be far better if the visa echoed what the BRP will say (the full length of stay). Either that or give 2 months to enter. I don't have an easy solution for you, I'm afraid.

You should have had your passport back with the other documents. Contact UKVI and if you don't get any joy quickly contact your local MP.

Only the days spent in the UK count. Time outside the UK does not.

Just in case no-one else noticed this: your sponsor's note seems to say the work has finished on March 15th 2018. I quote: "Sponsor note : Change in the work start date in relation to expiry of visa Work start Date - 16 March 2018 End Date - 15 March 2018" My mistake - the error was noticed and ame...

You can stay until the date stated on your BRP. They often grant one month extra on the BRP.

Re: Completing the Resident Labour Market Test. Please help

Your UK sponsor should have proved on your CoS that your job could not be done by an EU resident. Or that you are internationally famous. It sounds from your message as though you might not even have a CoS issued by a UK sponsor. That is a fundamental requirement for this visa. It's down to the spon...

Re: Apply for Tier 5 directly??? Help

Yes, apply directly. There's no lottery, but there is a number cap (limit) each year. If the limit has not been reached they can get it if they apply and do the correct payment etc. They must be aged between 18 and 30.

It sounds like he probably had a fairly weak case for this and did not prove beyond doubt that he was an full-time professional artist, or that he could support himself adequately, or that he had strong employment ties to Russia. I can't say why the 6 months no re-application statement has been made...

Re: Permitted Paid Engagement visa?

Can he prove he is a professional sculptor? If not then it's the wrong type of visa, because for PPE the officer must be satisfied that the person is a professional artist/sculptor/whatever. If he's self-employed then it may be difficult to prove he makes his living doing this, unless he's internati...

Re: American buying and using a holiday home in the UK

There will be plenty of non-residents who own property here. As long as they don't spend over 180 days here in any 365-day period (not just calendar year) they have not broken any rules (presuming they're not working here or claiming benefits). You must be able to prove you are not going to need to ...

Re: American buying and using a holiday home in the UK

UK border staff generally allow visitors up to 6 months - that's the absolute maximum. It's very rare someone would need that long or stay that long. It's not illegal to stay for the full 6 months but it certainly would look a bit suspicious if you did (also most people would need to work, hence imm...

Internship visas like this would have to be supported by BUNAC, I think. They are an organisation that deals with international internship visas.

Re: Tier 5 - Canadian YMS 2 year expiring questions.

I'd say the minimum you should carry with you on re-entry to the UK is proof of onward travel, proof of funds, and someone at least being available on the end of the phone to corroborate your story if the border officer has concerns and wants to speak to someone. Remember that having a boyfriend her...

Re: Tier 5 - Canadian YMS 2 year expiring questions.

If you've been here for 2 years, then you pop out somewhere, and come back a few days or weeks later, that looks very suspicious. Chances are you would have a hard time justifying or proving that you genuinely are just here as a visitor when you come back soon after the expiry of the visa.

I wouldn't be so sure, Wanderer. Our overseas posts have granted visas to acts to come and do these shows as recently as last year. However, I would advise Priyanka to check the rules of the show. Most say the applicants have to be resident in the UK or have the right to reside in the UK before they...
