Hello, actually no one can answer for speculations...if the VISA consultant is speculating that more stringent rules will be im place in June, then we may have to face that....regarding applying early for extension, this topic was discussed a lot in the fist 6 pages and there's no definite answer on...

Hi Static_restart, The rules on 30 March is old rules (ie Bachelors degree have points)... So, if you apply before 30-Mar and still pending on application, they will be assesed on old rules.... Gents....Just noticed it in the points based calculator... She clarified the following points: (i) the new rules will affect anyone who applies after 1 April (including extension and first time applicants) (ii) You can switch or extend your stay from HSMP (PBS) anytime...meaning you don't need ...

Actually, if you go through the UKBA website, if you are on HSMP (PBS), then you are not eligible for 'switching' to tier 1. You can only apply for extension... How about this, apply now for switch for Tier-1 before April 2009. then you will be losing the time that left over in your current HSMP vis...
