I have got my workpermit in aug 2006 for 5 years till aug 2011 .i am eligible for ILR/Probation citizenship in july 2011.

Will my employer need to apply for sponsorship? i have got my workpermit under old rules i.e not under tier 2.please let me know

According to 28days rule i have got 6 working days to apply right..i.e between 23rd July to 1st August there are 6 working days including 1st of august.

So i should be able to apply in person between these days and iam eligible for ILR..?

so we don't have any ray of hope that the rule will be changed.

HI iam in the same Boat as you.I will be eligible for my ILR on 23rd July 2011. So if they change the rules on 6th of July i will not be eligible.Hopefully Toris will win the lection and scrap this rule.
