Anyone request Passport during BC application

Hi Guys,

I would like to know if anyone has requested his passport during British Citizenship application and received on time before travelling????

I have requested mine on 26th July and I am not sure if I will receive it before 11th August (date of travelling)

As far as I can see, you can only apply for passport after you have your nationality certificate in hand (i.e after ceremony). It might be possible to get thing sorted in about 40-45 days but my feeling is on top of a tidy application and supporting docs, you will also need a very good run of luck ...

mego_1980, why are you continuing to look for a problem that does not exist? If your new wife's application is rejected it will be because of not proving that the tests, mentioned earlier, have been passed ..... not because you are not British. My previous experince with UKBA made me crazy and worr...

There is no evidence at all the applications from those having "settled status", but not British, are treated any differently from those from British Citizens. absolutely right, I have ILR on Pakistani passport and my wife has been granted a spouse visa very recently and coming over along with our ...

I have got my Permenant Resident through the retention of rights. I would like to get married and I need to know if it is easy to bring her over to UK on Spouce visa.

I know what do you mean, my solicitor didn't tell me this I just foud out today when reading the guidance.
But how the HO check if you are phisacly in uk or not especially if there is nobody stamp your passport in any UK airport
