Yes, with a passport and marriage certificate. It may cause uncertainty for employers but it is what Article 25 specifically allows. Practically, it is impossible. You can't possibly expect ALL UK employers to be able to recognize hundreds of marriage certificates from around the world. You would t...

It should be fine regardless of that. Royal Mail would re-direct it anyway, prepaid or not.

You can also pay Royal Mail to re-direct your post. I know someone who has done it and it's pretty convenient.

The only way to transfer a EEA visa is to make a new application. God forbid if one's passport is lost or stolen. Anyone else ...

Its a very good salary. Providing you don't already have many financial commitments, or addictions, £42K is a very good salary. To rent an average one bedroom flat in zones 2-3, you will need to pay between £800-£1200 per month. The rest of the living expenses are somewhat similar to most European c...

Ask your employer to call the HO employer helpline to confirm your eligibility. With a RC and proof of posting of PR application, the HO should be able to confirm your eligibility. Other than the above, I suggest that you write to UKBA, explain your situation, and politely ask for priority treatmen...

Perhaps it is not the UKBA requesting the interview. I think it is the respective council. It is nowadays common when the couple annouce their intent to get married. If it is UKBA requesting it, it will be beneficial to see the actual text.

Normally, it shouldn't take longer than 1 week from now. As with all EEA applications, there is not much we could do to speed things up, except praying. Good luck.

It could be that your application has been returned or your PR. I wish it's the latter. If you sent a prepaid next day delivery envelope, then you should receive it the next day after it was sent. If it's the UKBA signed for 2nd class delivery, you shall get it within 4-5 days. Keep entering your tr...

Obviously, this is smth that your local council is able to decide. As far as I know, you will be needing your passport. Clarify it with them. In any case, you may still ask HO for your passport back.

UKBA does accept EEA IDs, as previously stated. It was my understanding the the Danish ID (billedlegitimationskort) was the official Danish ID. Apparently, it doesn't seem to be.

EEA ID Cards would be welcomed by all countries and would not be met with resilience should they there be common requirements, elements and legislation. Don't get me wrong, they are a good thing to have. My previous examples prove that as it stands, it's a total mess. Every government apply them as ...
