Re: CCJ after Naturalisation Application

Of course I am fixing it as we speak. Just wanted to know how will HO possibly see it as this is a particularly rare and specific situation.

Re: CCJ after Naturalisation Application

Should I write to HO with an explanation? Or wait if they will ask for one? I fear delays, or even worst...refusal!!

CCJ after Naturalisation Application

Hi,

Just got an alert about a CCJ added to my name 2 months after I submitted my application.

I will call the court and make arrangements of course as I wasn't aware of it, but will it have an adverse effect on my application?

Any advise would help.

Thank you.

Re: May 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

May 2014, there were approvals even in June. I wouldn't be shocked. There are only about 40 timelines here out of total 4000+ applications.

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

General info about applications can be requested at http://www.whatdotheyknow.com Home office will never disclose the specifics of the process of your application. If they do, it means that they are requesting additional clarifications. When they do, you will know. In the meantime, sit tight and try...

Re: May 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

February and March being processed now!! Bearing in mind, there were 11710 applications in March 2015 alone. Some ~3000 applications more than usual.

April and May hopefully no later than August. Fingers crossed. Keep your mind off it. Worrying won't help you.

Re: May 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

I was reading today posts from May 2014. Similarly, there was a backlog, immigration staff shuffle between departments, a strike, etc. First few applicants got their approvals on last days of June 2014, then nothing until August 2014. By then, approvals were happening very slowly still--1 every 1-2 ...

Re: May 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

Realistically, I am expecting a reply late August early September. And I applied on 8th of May.

From the minute the caseworker starts dealing with an application, it shouldn't take them longer than a week. All personal info about applicants is a phone call away or it can be obtained online.

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

I think it also has to do with how "simple" your case is...providing that the information you have given is accurate and doesn't contradict the official records. Even the slightest most irrelevant mismatch can cause unnecessary delays.

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

How do people know the date their application was received by Home Office? I applied with form AN @ NCS on 5th May. It's now 26th May and no money hasn't been taken from my account, and I haven't received anything acknowledging receipt of my application. Call your NCS and ask for tracking nr. I app...

Re: Naturalisation with PR.

i will anyway present my P45 (covering 2013-2015) as well as payslips to the NCS officer, although I am convinced that my PR should suffice.

I wonder, what have others done in a similar situation?

As you would imagine, I would hate any pointless delays.

Please see this link from my local Hammersmith Council.... http://www.lbhf.gov.uk/Images/Document%20page%20non-EEA%20adults%20NARIC_tcm21-176426.pdf It doesn't mention anything of the kind... I find it hard to believe. I will anyway have it on me, but it's the first time I hear. Please elaborate. Ch...

Re: Naturalisation with PR.

I am not an EU citizen. My passport gets stamped all the time. And perhaps, the difference between the 2 cases is that I already have a PR. PR automatically proves your right of residence and the unlimited extent that it was given for. Why does one need to prove it again? Is there an official link I...
