But only if the OP is married. That is the only way that it's guaranteed, but it can be granted even if they aren't married. I was given permission to work on my COA as the unmarried partner of an EEA national. Unmarried partners can derive EEA rights only after they have been approved by the UKBA,...

*CoA as in certificate of application of a residence card of a family member of a Union citizen.

There is no sense in being nervous depending on imformation given over the board. Remember each application is determined on its individual merit. Besides, there are many applicants out there who do not post there applications results on this board. What am trying to say is that, the way the OP is d...

Re: Extended family member EEA2 Application refused

The wording in refusal says that I must show financial rather than merely emotional or other dependency on the EEA National The issue of Ofms is a big problem for Ukb, as one has to fall in both membership of household as well as being a dependant. Ukb seems not to take on people who fall in just o...

Find time go through those forms again, you might discover that they eliminated a fullstop or even a comer somewhere, if not just one word!

abraCadabra, as regards the UKBA you provide a link to, I am appalled that they ask for so much information. Treaty right has to be genuine. The UKBA knows her treaty right's position , if she is working or self-employed. They will not help by telling you not to provide this. They will say the onus is on you to provide this information. Simply providing a Sickness insurance for someone who is not aware of...

Much as metock was not about Ofms, it does give some light on the whole issue. Immigration lawyers are still arguing the issue of ukb not considering Ofms and lets optimistic in that case.
