Hi Mate, Congrats first and I know you had a great sigh of relief!! You said you changed two employers on Work Permits. Did he ask for all the P60's for last 5 years or just the employee letters. Regards, Venkat No, I changed employment ONCE and that too when on Tier 1. However, all 5 P60s were ask...

Its a very simple process. There are many companies who can do the CRB check on your behalf - remember you cannot request one from the govt directly yourself, its only potential employers who can request for one. However, a provision has been made to allow anyone to get themselves checked and the wa...

I did not get any FPN on a counterpart as I was driving on International license and my case was referred by DVLA to the court because they dont have processes to deal with international drivers. When it comes down to the actual letter of the law, you, unfortunately do not qualify. Technically you have been here for 5 years BUT as a dependant applicant, you do not meet the so required siper-set rules of applying AS a dependant. To clarify further, for a main applicant to apply for a dependan...

Congrats on the ILR, straight forward cases do bring a smile to the caseworker as there is not much to work around and verify so its always a welcome sight for them I had a few quick questions 1. Did they ask for payslips, P60s and bank statements as income proof? I plan to only submit P60s, HMRC le...

Is that dividend not an income for you? Doesnt that amount help towards monthly expenses? It does and so it is you monthly income and hence you need to add all sources from where you get income and put the total figure of £3000. If there was a separate section for income from other sources then tha...

Final Checks with 195 days out - Appointment on the 16th

Hi All, Been contributing to and seeking advice from this forum for many years now. Anyways, with everything in place, forms filled and documentation in hand, the only niggling worry is my 195 days out over 5 years with nothing over 90 days at a stretch. If you have your last 3 statements showing salary paid, preferably highlighting employer name and carry the original contract you should be fine as this is ample proof that you are working for the company. Try to time your application as soon as you receive your salary/ bank statement to prove you a...

Always take advice from us members with a pinch of salt. I say this because job hunting and bagging that great offer is all very dependant on the candidate in question. A really quick look on Cityjobs throws up so many BA roles - both contracts and perm roles with salaries from as low as £35k to as...

I was just reading through and I'd just like to ask. This sort of company taking cuts on salaries just to provide a CoS, is this not exploitation of workers? trust me, the first lawyer was rubbish - many with over 180 days and most of Annual Leave have applied in person and been successful. In your case, any lawyer can make a strong case for you without any trouble at all. Good for you to take a second opinion and to go ahead - dont worry at all. If it w...

Well, from the 4 points you put and asked, it sure seems like you werent clear of your objectives. you are still not clear on what your end goal is here 1. Are you ensuring you have sufficient points and earnings for extension/PR - if so, the 12 month contract achieves that and a lot more. Do not calculate salary after tax. Everything here looks at your total package without any tax deductions 2....
