Evidence of lawful residence in the UK - my bills would be enough or shall i request for the letters from employers, accountants, etc..? Your bills should be enough to prove residence. What Treaty right has your wife been exercising for the past five years? Thank you. From the beginning she was wor...

Re: EEA3/EEA4 Additional documents?

Another question is - 30 days before end of qualifying 5 y. period is a good time to post the application for permanent stay? It is. And to be correct, it's an application for a Permanent Residence Card that you will be submitting, despite what it says on the form (application for a Permanent Resid...

Re: Thanks 4 reply abidjan..further question

hi queryman in the worse senario if PR eea4 is refused on the ground of unability to proof application of treaty over 5 years you will be granted 5 years. this is what i think. in that case after 2 years you can reapply for YOUR PR under 7 years residency Why 7 years? I think long time residency is...

Re: non eea national on residence card..need help with pr

hi a letter from your accountant and NI contribution receipt will be enough but make sure that every time you pay the NI contribution have it stamped as proof of payment. in a year as self employed you pay your taxes(once a year) only after april and that is looked after by your accountant. So havi...

Re: non eea national on residence card..need help with pr

hi viladmi, actually the HO doesn't ask a bunch of doc to support your application. To show that you have been working or exercicing a self employed job a P60 or self assessment return is enough. i have been there so i can comfirm that. sometime while they reviewing your application they might ask ...

Hmm, self-sufficient to me means having independent means, not living off someone elses. Well, I agree. But what if I have paid for all bills, flat, etc...? Other words I have been supporting her for some time, while she was looking for a job. I guess for HO more important the financial activity (w...

Assuming you do come across a caseworker who is scruplous, 'job seeking' is excuse to use, as that is a valid treaty right as w...

Re: non eea national on residence card..need help with pr
