I cannot give you an example from this forum, but have a look at what Westminster NCS states on their website: Please ensure your photo is attached to the relevant page on the application form before your two referees complete their sections. You must attach this with either glue or a staple as pape...

Re: I want to move to England but where do I start?

I thought you could get citizenship by descent? And to answer your question, it is not - unless you are ...

They don't speed up anything - the two valuable things about NCS is that you get to keep your original documents (so they won't get lost in the post! - I for one don't want to send my passports via RoyalMail) and they check for the most obvious mistakes, like forgetting to staple/glue the photo. No, one does not have to enter UK by a certain date - but if you will enter after the first 28 days you will need to extend your Tier 1 visa not once but twice before you will be able to get ILR in 5 years.

I think this means that Home Office staff are on holidays and your application will remain in the Post Office hold until they will start work again (I don't know when, but possibly as late as 4th of January).

It is not so much an interview - but just a process of submitting documents to a case-worker with ability to explain unusual circumstances in person (as opposed to cover letter in postal application).

The majority of public sector jobs is identical or very similar to private sector ones. people would spend less and you can expect prices for rental homes and other services to come down! That's what they are hoping for. Generally market comes alive in mid-January after X-mas lull, however 2011 is a unique year where we have a VAT rise + massive public sector cuts (quite a lot of which have to be done sooner than later). So **** knows

This is incorrect. They refer to 'salary criteria', not the 'salary' - so the scale of points will be the same, but your salary does not have to be (as long as you pass, obviously).

Judging by a similar experience of non-EEA student I knew - she will not be deported now!
However she will be refused an extension of her Tier 4 visa and will be told to leave on her own + she will be given a visa ban (no idea about the duration of that, sorry).
