Do these 50,000 include EU migrants?

If so I wonder how would they work out number of EU migrants settling in? Don't think many EU folks bother applying for Permanent Residence card as it's just a confirmation of their status. Their non-EU family members will certainly apply.

If DLR gets refused would OP have to declare this fact on any future UK visa application? Including wp?

Would refused DLR have a negative effect on future applications? I suppose it would certainly be the case with visitor visa.[/i]

As was already pointed out COA doesn't legalise your stay. COA is more of a confirmation to a regist...

In your situation you should worry about getting Permanent Residence (PR). After spending 1 year on PR you can then apply for BC. Do a search on Retention of Residence Rights to get more details on how you can get PR in case of divorce. I don't think you qualify for that right now. In a nutshell you...

Have you considered hiring private detective? As you are already divorced he needs to gather evidence that would prove she exercised treaty rights in the past. He may perhaps gather statements from witneses to show she worked at the time of divorce.

Re: EEA4 permanet Residence -when to apply -5yr after marria

When can I apply for the permanent residence in my case? Is it on the 31st of August 2010 (5 years since the day of my marriage) or on the 11th of April 2011 (5 years since I have been granted permission to stay)? Actually you can apply 28 days earlier, on the 3rd of August, although that is not cl...

Anywhere on the form it's asking you to declare failed attempts at KOL? Or how many attempts it took you to pass it? If the answer is no, how can they possibly delay or refuse your application on that basis? They can't say you did
something wrong by not declaring something they didn't ask you to.

All HO cares is whether you passed an exam or not, doesn't matter on what attempt. So you think if a person failed an exam, they are disqualified for life? Sorry, don't think so.

Under transitional arrangements as an ILR holder you have up till July 2013 to apply under current rules.

UKBA only refunds ceremony fees for unsucessful applications, which I believe is around eighty pounds.

As an alternative you can wait and apply in July 2012.

Your Certificate of Application (COA) should mention that whilst your application is under consideration it should be taken that you have the same rights as under your EEA FP. This is the easiest way to prove that you have right to work in the UK. As been pointed out by many neither EEA FP nor RC gr...
