Depends on your council. If they got the paperwork from UKBA and have your details, they would proceed with the booking.

1. No appointment required. You can walk-in, take the token and surrender your passport.

2. No idea. You might be able to ask on the VFS helpline? Reading by the comments in this thread, you might not be able to submit visa application at the same time.

The people on the advice line are useless. Every time I've called, I've got a different answer to the same question. Some are friendly, some are unhelpful, but they are all clueless. Just wondering how people who post in the timeline section get to know when there application was received by IPS co...

Could you tell me what time usually DX delivers passports? Is it more in the mornings or evenings?
I guess it depends on the region and how far is their depot. They delivered around 9AM in our region.

1. I did not understand this question. If you go Indian passport, you cannot have British passport along with it. So you need to ILR/FLR..I dont know much details about this process. 2. I don't think there is any benefit of getting Indian passport first and switching to British. He will get OCI in a...

Yes. I got a surgeon as my refree. Was reading a thread about why doctors have been removed from the list. Apparently GPs requested to be removed as lot of people making GP appointments for the references and their time is not being well spent to attend patients.

Steps to get passport after you got the naturalisation certificate

1. Apply for passport
2. Waiting for the interview letter
3. Make an appointment for interview when the letter has arrived.
4. Sit back and wait for your passport to arrive.
