she have to give her passport number thats the only way to verify that she's british, if she refuse to do so you have to ask someone else like the head teacher, doctor, dentist etc.

I heard that the nationalisation fees will be raising November 22 is this true? and is it 780 for citizenchip now, i have looked but its not clear.. thank you

ppl have been doing it for years, so dont be scared you dont need to transfer your visa in your passport. it will cost you to let HO put the visa in there and sometimes your passport get lost.

thanks guys, so if what liberal says is right then that rule that HO posted would go for everyone who granted ILR outside the rules whether they are married to british citizen or not they can apply for NAT after a year then?

i am in kind of the same situation where i claimed in 2002 and got my ILR in 2008 outside the rules and was told that i couldn't apply for NAT until 5 years time. So the question is can i really apply now?

send by post next day delivery recieved on 6/10/09 money debited from bank account 13/10/09 acknowledge letter came on the 13/10/09 dated 09/10/09 certificate send and recieved on the 22/10/09 dated 20/10/09 passport form was sent ages lol, i thought because he was born here he didnt need to be regi...

go and see a solicitor if you cant afford one go to the citizen advice bureau. the only other advice i can give you is to try to read up on marriage on this forum there are some helpful stuff and see where that takes you. good luck

hamid84 if your child was born here then after receiving ILR you can register him as a british citizen, but if your child was born abroad then you have to wait until you are applying for yours to apply for him.
