i want to know how long does HO take to send back your passport with the ILR stamp? any help pls.

send by post next day delivery recieved on 6/10/09 money debited from bank account 13/10/09 acknowledge letter came on the 13/10/09 dated 09/10/09 certificate send and recieved on the 22/10/09 dated 20/10/09 passport form was sent ages lol, i thought because he was born here he didnt need to be regi...

go and see a solicitor if you cant afford one go to the citizen advice bureau. the only other advice i can give you is to try to read up on marriage on this forum there are some helpful stuff and see where that takes you. good luck

hamid84 if your child was born here then after receiving ILR you can register him as a british citizen, but if your child was born abroad then you have to wait until you are applying for yours to apply for him.

i never knew that, i thought that the other party wouldnt bother but then again listen to everyone else i think they will. back to the question about the 2011 rule change, there is alot about this topic you could look it up and have a read for yourself.

when some one ask for help try to give them answer instead of meddling in their business. alot of time people on here never gets any reply on there question but instead are ask why this happen and so on.

i believe he could ask the bank for the statement but he would have to pay for them. please dont let that hold you back from getting them remember nothing in life is for free.

yes you can apply for maternity grand which is £500

i dont think thats a good idea, keep it and then when you recieve it then you can apply ifor your course in january.

£460 is for register as a british citizen and yes it is a big rip off, but it worth it when you know your entitile to it.

you just have to wait, you will get a reply when they are ready.

i believe you can apply because you were here from 1998 and have LTR until 2005, so if my maths is right that would be 6 yrs legally here, thats why you got the ILR. now you can apply after 1 yr with the ILR. although you were overstay for two years it would come under discretion.
