It seems like you are getting more bothered than the OP To be honest I'm just disgusted that this board has for the second time since I've been here been used to tell other people that they don't have a right to be upset or complain. This is easily the least supportive of the forums I visit. I was ...

innocentdevil, can I just ask why you insist on bothering Xiaozhu? Is it so hard to be supportive of someone who's expressed that they've been put in a difficult situation? It says 95% of applications will be completed within 6 months, not that 95% will take at least 6 months (or more). It is only ...

Re: Waiting times

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/settlement/waitingtimes/ Has anyone else noticed they have changed the waiting times page recently? Didn't this use to be a table with the different visas and the estimated time? Or am I looking in the wrong place? nice one, Xiazhu, have a look an...

Xiaozhu: to be honest, though you have tried everything in your right to get them to make the application process but as per guidelines they have 6 months anyway and like you said they have completed today so I do not know what is the fuss. Though they should have completed within 6 months but now ...

there is no crime committed here by you living with someone who hasn't got a visa, you have nothing to worry about however, I cannot say the same for him. Other than going back to the country of residence and applying for clearence, I cannot see any other way he could legally be in the UK. he will b...

if your country offers dual citizenship then I would get the passport before I leave the country, after all, you must have worked hard for ILR. Once you have the passport then you can leave and may be enter back whenever you like without any issues.

post up the website / link where the info is published instead of PM's. If it is something anyone can benefit then they should.

on the other side I have to say, govt here is cutting even the support for UK national students so I am not sure how is there a program / funding available for such a thing.

not corrupt but they have an overload of work that goes back 10 years. Massively inefficient and not under the right leadership.

Surely, their system needs restructuring.
