New Design British Passports

Just wondering if people have started to receive new blue British passports as they were to be issued from late 2019 according to HMPO press release.

Re: ETSA approved but no email

If you are certain that Esta was approved then you don't need a physical proof. The airlines will be able to check your Esta status with your passport number.

Re: Payment reference ending with LTR

The term LTR COULD have nothing to do with Leave to remain, the payment processor is normally a third party and this could be just a coincidence. IMHO

Find visa service providers in your area, they normally have slots to fit you in for application. You can search online.

They can take as much time as they want. I think you have plenty of time before travel. You should be hearing from them soon.

Re: EU settlement scheme android app

The android app only allows BRP cards or Passport to be scanned as they would require to scan the passport. You may have to send in postal application.

Re: How to Edit submitted ILR application (New Application Process)

Fill a test form & this time answer YES to that question, print off the consent form & upload before your appointment. Answering "NO" shouldn't matter as long have they have correct consent fors.

Re: ILR application > circumstance change > advice needed

any chance you could delay the separation proceedings for a bit longer so that you can apply? You will have to mutually agree this with your husband. I am not sure what law says about the timings of your marital affairs as you have already completed 5 years of residence as a spouse. I am sure someon...

Re: 10 year route ILR, but already 12 years in the UK (should I list all absences?)

You only need to provide proof of residency for last 10 years. You do not need to include p60s, if you are a non EU national then you only need passports covering 10 years.

Ask your "friend" to provide an official link to this information.

You cannot work on a visit visa anyway if you are a non eu/UK citizen.
He or she has not used word "friend". I see no reason to highlight "friend" in a reply.

Re: tax returns and ILR

You do not need to do anything. HMRC will collect the tax through PAYE (your salary) so no need to fill a tax return. Will have no impact on your ILR application.

you should have applied for an urgent service if it was a renewal. You may get your passport before Feb 5th but they always advise NOT to book any travel. Best of luck.
