Place of birth in British passport

Hi,

For people born outside the UK, would the place of birth in the passport details page include the country they were born in or just the city?
I know that for UK born people, only the UK city/town is listed but was wondering if it is the same case for people born outside the UK.

Not senior but will try to help....

There is no need to provide proof of address in the application. As long as you lived there, that's OK. Tell the truth and don't worry. If there is a problem, HO will write to you ask for proof but I don't think this should be of a concern.

Was in a similar situation. Declared it (even though not a CCJ) and attached a letter from my council confirming my account is up to date.

Then why the MN1 guide says that "Once a child reaches age 18 they will have to apply to naturalise using form and guide AN" Any special meaning or significance to this point?
