DO I JUST RING HO AND ASK CAN YOU TELL ME IF MY WIFE IS A PR OR NOT? DO THEY GIVE HER A ID NUMBER ETC? Now, how would the HO know about someone if he never contacted them before? How would they know if your wife has been working here for 5 years or just watched TV all day? EEA nationals get PR auto...

Re: Britich citizenship for my child

...I have read that childeren registered as British sitizen should apply for naturalisation when they turn to 18. ... I guess you are referring to the following text from the UKBA website: To be able to register as a British citizen using application form MN1 the child must be under 18 on the day w...

Have you checked the UKBA website?
It clearly states there:

Why not try to contact the HO directly and ask for the status? You can explain that you need the CoA for a job offer.

The HO is usually quite good in returning the passports when asked.
Did you try to phone them and ask for the status?
Did you provide them with a pre-paid envelope for the return of your documents? If not, it will go 2nd class and might take a few more days for the post to arrive.

From your previous posts it seems that you husband is already in the UK working and exercising his treaty rights so it OK if he is not physically in the UK the moment you land. You might be asked by the IO where is your husband and I would just say that he will arrive a few hours later due to his bu...

Re: Referee Questions and processing time!

1. For me and my wife application, can I use my friend as a Professional Referee who is Director of his limited company from last 6 month but he is having ILR with Indian nationality? If he is a Director/Manager/Personnel Officer of a VAT registered Company, that's OK. Doesn't need to be British. 2...

I doubt the misspelled name would be even noticed. I know people who had the sticker on their maiden name which is not even mentioned in their after marriage passports and they had no problem. He will scan your passport and as long as you are in the system, the IO will just glance over the sticker.

No experience here with agencies. EEA applications are free and quite straight forward (in most cases) so easy to apply directly. It usually takes 3-4 months. You can always ask for your passport back if you need to travel. If your partner left the UK and is not exercising treaty rights in the UK, t...

I presume she worked during the 5 years apart of that short period and I assume she was looking for a job during that time. A job seeker is considered exercising treaty rights and doesn't need CSI. I would be very surprised if the HO deny PR based on such a short period without a CSI (especially as ...

Not sure about the passport as it might be needed as a proof of identity (if the passport is old, the picture is not clear etc) better to call the HO and ask. NCS might also know although it is better to check with the HO itself. With regards to the residence requirement, then she can ask for a lett...

Your employment status has no implications on the application. It's the EEA person employment status that matters so as long as your husband is working you are fine and can join him. No problem.
