Hey guys, sorry to resurrect this topic again but I just have one more question. If we were to return to the UK after 6 months, how would we do that? I've read that the UK doesn't accept Residence cards issued elsewhere so how do we even enter the uk? Would I have to apply from ireland to the UK emb...

I'm on a student visa at the moment and the first time I came into the country, I was only asked what university I will be studying at and then they stamped my passport. That was it. I was not required to show proof or anything else because it's a given that you have to show proof of funds when you ...

Hi,

If you are in england and have permission to stay for more than six months you can apply for a certificate of approval and get permission to marry there then apply for a cr-1 visa at the American embassy in London(if you've been in england for a minimum of 6 months).

Hi, You can use direct consular filing for an IR-1 visa which is the quickest way. This means you can apply at the American embassy, where you are living. Hey rhubbie,

I don't see a problem with getting married in a third country as long as the marriage is legal. I married my husband in Barbados even though neither of us were from there (I'm american, he's english).

Right now I'm in England with my husband. I was here for one year on a student visa. I'm an american citizen and he's a uk citizen. Due to th...
