Thanks for your replies. Sorry, I should have mentioned that I'm a British Citizen. After deducting rent and council tax, I still have about £700 a month coming in so should be fine. I know they only ask for proof of finances and a marriage certificate, but is it a good idea to just provide as muc...

The only documents you need are the ones written on the flr(m) application. No extras needed. Your gf is American, makes it even easier. Flr(m) doesn't ask for tenancy agreements or bills if you're going through the marriage route. It's not a problem that she's not working. If you have more than eno...

Sounds like they're trying to run with your money Freddie! I wouldn't trust them based on the crappy advice they gave you which can mislead you and cause your partner to become an overstayer. She needs to apply for flr(m) and like Vinny said, do it soon as they are planning on changing up a lot of r...

Your wedding does not have to be extravagant. You can have a lovely small ceremony. Sounds like you need to prioritize better. EXCUSE ME!!! :x how dare you judge me. I can fully understand where you are coming from. Its so frustrating. We cant save for a marriage AND save for the visa. We want to get to the UK as my dad has dementia, why should we get married just to please the UK government. I have PR under the commonlaw category for Canada, yet we still have ...

You don't need anyone to process your application. It's easy. The questions are ones that only you know the answers to anyways. Very straight forward. Advisors (especially bad ones) would love to tell you that you'd be successful because they want you to pay up! So they'll tell you what you want to ...

Thanks for the advice. I guess I am so hesitant because the VISAS will cost 1300 x 5 and I would hate to be rejected. Yeah I can see your hesitation. Your finances are not water tight. However, I don't see any other choice that you have apart from finding a higher paid job. Give it your best shot i...

So my accommodation will cost me 745 a month (625 + 120). For myself, my wife and 4 kids, I need 355 per week. When I add this up, it comes to 27, 400. My salary is 27,000 and after tax it comes to around 21,000. Will I not be rejected based on the fact that I fall short? Okay so basically your inc...

Lots of people are young but if they're living together they have to pay bills! These are joint commitments. Car payments, rent, gas, mobile phones etc... Flr(m) is what you need to apply for regardless of you applying as an unmarried partner or married couple. Why such a reluctance to marrying this...

Think you're going to have to get married and apply for flr(m) since I don't see how you can prove that you've lived together for two years.

Pakistan Spouse Visa What 'proof of contact' did you submit with your settlement visas? Did you submit call logs/phone bills or just phone cards? Re: Showing information on bills etc for spouse visa applica

Hi, My husband and I are preparing a spouse visa application for him to come and live with me in the UK. As I pull together all of the required information, I start to feel that I am showing an awful lot of information, e.g account details on utility bills etc, bank statements etc. Something someon...

As far as processing, the us has fast track available. If you pay an extra $300 to world bridge after the initial visa fee, your visa will be processed under 2 weeks. This is great to use if your fiancee does not have a criminal history or any other complications. So really you would only need to gi...

You would need the vaf4a that is correct. ILR would not be the right visa for your situation. Had you been married and living outside of the uk for four years, you could apply for ILE.

interactive=the digital form.

If you have things you want to address though, it's better to download the form and write things in. The digital form doesn't let you input 'irrelevant' information.

WOW, that is much faster than I expected...now maybe I should do postal rather than premium! My current visa expires at the end of September, I wonder if that is enough time! As long as you apply before your visa expires, you will not be breaking any rules or over staying, even if they don't come t...
