couldn't you get a letter from employer/bank certifying that both names are of the same person?

I had a similar concern for my application as my name is passport is XXXX YYYY while in employer & bank docs its XXXX ZZZZ. I submitted the following evidence - 1. Affidavit 2. Letter from employer certifying that XXXX ZZZZ & XXXX YYYY are one and the same person also referencing my passport number....

The sign & seal needs to have been done ON the printout. Hi again I received payslips from head office of the company i work for and they are signed and stamped. don't worry about it, my passport also doesn't have a surname. None of my previous visa applications have ever been refused because of that. Well, that's not true anymore. I applied on July 5th with a travel date of Aug 28th. Got the visa stamped with validity starting Aug 28th.

if you're talking about the ref number for tracking the application on the VFS website, that's there on the receipt given to you by VFS when you submit the application.
