Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

Looks like the Home Office is now quite ashamed of its own performance: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/283645/response/691175/attach/3/FOI%20Response%2036220.pdf 1. Could you please provide date of April- June 2015 naturalisation data release. "We do hold the information you have requested f...

Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

Home Office seems to be completely uninterested in post-biometric applications. The first April application in this thread was approved almost a month ago- on 16 July. And since then, there has been zero progress as far as biometric cases are concerned... :( Given that they have 95% target of consid...

Re: Application process

Does anyone know how the process works? 1. What does UKBA do after receiving application, but before acknowledging or sending biometric requests? 2. Roughly how long does it take for a case to be allocated to a caseworker? 3 I read somewhere that caseworkers target 10 applications a day, is that tr...

Cw most likely coundn't care less about this board. It's best to come back to the point of the thread. It's quite annoying to see that the topic has been updated, only to find out that it's full of irrelevant jokes.

Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

The woman at at the NCS told me that 75% of applications are supposed to be decided within 3 months. Given that about zero % of post-biometric April applications have been decided so far, it looks like this target has failed spectacularly. They have at least 40-50,000 backlog of post-biometric appli...

Re: February-2015 Naturalisation Application Timeline

Guys l received a letter today asking me to fill an additional rereference and my marriage certificate. After all 6 months waiting. The lady from NCS TOLD me she doesn't need to copy a marriage certificate coz home office will still find the information. Why do they help people yet they don't know ...

Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

It's been now several weeks since all the approvals stalled at April 1 mark. I am beginning to suspect that there is some technical issue which prevents them from considering post- biometric applications.

Re: Employment AN 1.53 - no Self Assessment Forms

The form very clearly requires you to submit this information if you are currently self-employed. Nowhere does it tell you to submit it if you were previously self-employed. You said yourself this only happened in 2010, and that you are now employed, so clearly this does not apply to you. No need to...

Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

With all respect, I think this discussion distracts from the main purpose of this thread- ie updating people on the status of other April applicants. IMO, it would be better if the TV licence issue was discussed in a separate thread.

Re: April 2015 Naturalization application Timeline ONLY

Hi All, I have submitted my application last Friday. I have submitted my passport as a proof of identity, but I had used my BRP card which was issued in 2013, before getting my ILR, for Life in UK test. I have not written any cover letter for the same. Is this fine? It's pretty obvious that most pe...

Re: URGENT PLEASE, AN Form: Application Date on Form

Hi, I will complete 1 year post ILR on 14/07/2015 and my NCS appointment is on 16th July for Naturalisation. I have completed and signed AN form with date 30/06/2015 and my referees signed it on 01/07/2015. Today somebody told me that these dates should be after you have completed 1 year of ILR (i....

Re: investigation letter from home office.

I disagree with Simon and Fwd and others, on the subject; there shouldn't be any restrictions on movement. If countries like UK or Canada placing restrictions on movement (moving abroad temporarily or permanently) - these countries will become a JAIL. Somehow or indirectly its against human rights....

People change...things change... future is unpredictable... Past behaviour is an indication, indeed. I would not digress from t...

Re: investigation letter from home office.

More than 90% of people move away from here to their country of origin after obtaining british passport and this wont make sense for home office to chase them up. I digress from the original purpose of this thread, which we all are agreed seems to be a badly designed forgery. But I was startled by ...

Re: employment history 2008-09

Note that you don't have to send your tax forms. The only reason why someone would want to get the work history is if you don't remember it, but Home Office does not require for you to send it to them.

Re: investigation letter from home office.

Realistically, Home Office has to prove that you lied aboit your intentions to stay in the UK at the time of the application. However, circumstances can change. For example, one can get a good job offer abroad and move there temporariky. Who is to say this is not allowed? If this is indeed how Home ...
