Re: Tax returns

Thank you for your response. I saw this site before; what I found a bit confusing, though, is this part: ******************************** Who needs to complete a tax return? You’ve lived or worked abroad or aren’t domiciled in the UK You may need to complete a tax return if you're: * not residen...

I pay taxes through PAYE system through my employer. Do I have to file tax return? If yes, can I do it online? Is ...

Re: Is Tier 1 going to become easy to qualify ?

Hi members, I read on workpermit.com that Govt is thinking to make tier 1 easy to qualify for bachelor degree holders with good salary If suggested changes are implemented, it would indeed be possible to qualify for a person with only a bachelor's degree. I would not call this process particularly ...

I encountered a very confusing matter in UKBA site about extending Tier 1 General: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingintheuk/tier1/general/applying/extendingyourstay/ according to that for extension you should have a visa which does not prohibit from working as a doctor in training!!!!!!!!!!...

Re: From the FT

From the FT http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/58786cea-e076-11de-8494-00144feab49a.html Do you think the new rule will affect to only people who firstly enter into the UK to look for jobs? Those who have already stayed in the UK are exempted from this new rule, Right??? This recommendation seems to apply t...

As I said in another post: Just to be clear, when people discuss this proposed bill, it is my impression that they assume that all 5 tier visa categories will somehow be abolished, and one single category replacing them will be created. As a matter of fact, this is not the case. As can be seen from ...
