I hope u keep collecting proofs of contact since he left the UK , that could be useful later.

It is a good idea to seek a solicitor but what u need to do is to build up more evidents (phone calls, e mail , cards....) showing that u r together and plan to stay together.
Good idea

In my opinion, it will be very hard for the ECO to believe you if you change the reasons for your mum's travel to the UK at this time. It look really hard for you to win on appeal as well (but nothing is impossible). If I'm in your shoe, I 'll wait for a bit like 6months and apply for another visit ...

I am not saying that its not possible, and you are right, people do get granted this way. I personally know people who got granted, and some who were refused, even removed even when they had kids. So basically it depends on an individual case and how good an advisor makes an application. I think in...

HRY, The problem with that would have been that it would have been an application outside the rules, and with no other mitigating circumstances like severe hardship to kids etc if he was made to leave, his application would have been refused without rights of appeal anways. Any application when the...

Admitting to police that the passport was fake is no credit, when he already duped immigration with a fake passport. Your case seems like a difficult one. All you could do it take a second opinion from a different advisor. But in all probability, it will be difficult to get a positive outcome. not ...

I think you can apply anytime when you are married, dont have to be married for a certain period of time. Yes, FLR(M) is the form and yes can apply from within the UK. You can also apply anytime but apply not later than 3 months to the end of her Visa. You can wait for more advice from the UK tier e...

If you think its good to explain why he stayed for that long, I dont see anything wrong in it, as it will clarify the circumstances for the ECO but make sure you dont inlude any irrelevant information in your application. I have a similar experience in my home country in 2005, travelling to the UK t...
