I sent more than just a letter to them........Rather all relevant documents laid therein in the directive.Anyway, when is your RC expiring?. I wonder why my home office reference number has /2 now.Any ideas as to what it means.
Thanks

Hi ,all Its been nearly three(3) weeks since i notified the ukba of my divorce.I have checked and been confirmed by an electronic prove of delivery as i mailed using special delivery..............Why can't they bother to send atleast an acknowledgement(COA) immediately they receive important documen...
Hi.
I quess you have to start by telling the forum what sort of application you made, and if retained right of residence, how long did the marriage of your mum last.If you give the actual facts, I quess there are quite a few like Obie,Datuchi and others that might be able to help. Thanks
Hi Jude, Thanks for the reply I quess things have changed after your application.Anyway, I was married for exactly six(6)years before divorce.(dec 2003-dec 2009), I bet this is quite different since they may want to know what my ex wife was doing throughout the marriage. Moreso,i did not send any EE...
Hi Jude,
Thanks fro your suggestion............what i sent to UKBA was a letter notifying them of divorce,Decree Absolute, and prove that my ex has been working until divorce.Anyway, can i ask how many years you were married before divorce?

Hi Datuchi, Thanks once again but I feel I should not mention any Febuary application since they might say is pre calculated which I hear is what the UKBA are using now.Instead check the ff wording: Dear Sir/Madam, Notification of a Change in Circumstance following Divorce. I write to inform you tha...
Hi Datuchi,
Thanks for the reply...........But what do you reckon I state in place of me mentiong retained right of residence in the letter. Please make a suggestion
Thanks
Hi Datuchi, Thanks Mate for the reply Do you reckon i apply using eea4 and also not to use regulations10(5) with a covering letter. I thought Morpheo used this approach from the link you sent me. If you can, could you please draft the letter which I am to write in accompanying the application for me...
Hi, I have decided notify HO of my divorce by writing and asking them for confrimation of retained right of residence using Regulations 10(5).I'll attach the ff: 1.Letter notifying HO of divorce 2.Decree Absolute 3.Utility Bills from dec 2004 - dec 2009 4.P60s and wage slips from myself until dec 20...
Hi Datuchi, Thanks for the clarification. I,ll be posting my doc's on 04/01/2010. This is what I'll do' 1.write a notification of divorce letter and asking for confirmation of retained right of residence under Regulations 10(5).I'll attach the ff evidence: 2.Utility Bilss from December 2004 - decemb...
Hi Datuchi, Thanks for the reply. I am still not clear since i understand from UKBA come to apply for PR regardless of Retain Right or not, one needs to provide evidence of ex for continous excersice of treaty rights for 5 years. If I understand UKBA correctly, i guess non eea after divorce whether ...
Hi dutchi, I understand your logic but then the whole essence of applying for a retained right of residence, is for the non eea to be able to apply for either the RC or PR on his/her own merits without the eea. So then how is it possible for the Ho to request the excersing of treaty rights of the ex...
Thanks for the reply. I am abit confused because if you say i have to apply for PR in 2011, then how many years of treaty rights should i provide evidence for my ex EEA wife.I ask this because the HO told me even when you divorce you still need to prove your ex's five year treaty rights. This means t...
Hi, Have just read your thread and thought i could ask some questions from you if you could help. 1. came to uk in 2002 illegaly 2.got married in dec 2003 3.divorced in dec 2009 Now the problem i have is that i was given the residence card in 2006 so i don't know whether the count will be from when ...
HI Obie,
Because i didnot have any idea about eea laws and how to go about it.
Have got evidence from Feb 2005-Dec 2009.
I also would want to know if the continous excersing of treaty rights by my ex wife will be counted fron the Day of the RC or from date of Marriage.
Thanks alot
