Thank you very much for the kind reply.
So , I take the my child's visa is Long Term X visa, X replacing 5year ,am I right?. But on the visa there is a endorsement saying that "Max Stay 180 days" . This confuses me a lot.

Long term X visa holders can stay long term upto 5 years. Adults however need to register if their stay exceeds 180 days. Minors (under 16 year) are exempted from registration.
