I have read many topics on this. Friend12345, you stand a good chance and I am sure you will get BC soon. Your offence is minor as you got 3 points only and you had to pay for fee court and not fine. The annex which you attached earlier clearly says that if you get the points from the court as if po...

Thanks Greenie. It makes much more sense. My tier 1 extension (for 2 years) is coming at the end of this year and Ilr is due next year. If due to this conviction I cannot apply for Ilr, can I apply for further tier 1 extension ( when it expires) and keep doing it until my conviction becomes 'spent' ...

Can somebody kindly share, how do you apply for CRB, as your employer is supposed to do it?

Also how do you go for NACRO / ACRO certificate?

Thanks.

Very important and very good question indeed.

Can anybody answer this?

I know this is very old topic but my question is on same lines therefore thought to ask it here. I am on Tier 1 (general) immigration status with my Mrs and daughter (born here) as my tier 1 dependents here. My ILR is coming in 2013, however due to unfortunate circumtances, I have been involved in c...

Re: Effect of conviction on Extension of Tier 1

Dear All, Unfortunately I have been involved in road traffic accident. I have been told by police that they may prosecute me for careless driving or dangerous driving depening on witnesses statements. I have been told that I will get summon and I may have to go to court. I am worried about this, an...

There are other options such as FLR. This tends to be granted in a lot of situations as a holding exercise. The guidance from the government does say 'should' not 'must'. If it gets to that stage you should get legal advice to make sure you take the right route. I presume you will be represented in...

if they are dependents then they have to go through you. but if for some reason the dependent (your wife) can change her status and isn't your dependent anymore then she can do that. or if she has completed 10 years lawfully. Thanks innocent. Tier 1 general route is closed now, tier 2 requires cert...

One more question.

My Tier 1 was for 3 years.
Now When we apply for extension, do we get it for 2 years or 3 Years?

Also if I cannot apply for ILR after that (due to any conviction), what will happen then? Can I apply for further Tier 1 extension or not?

Can somebody please elaborate?

Thanks.

Or dependents of tier 1 can only apply when main applicant is applying?

I am under the impression that any conviction effects naturalisation and not ILR. Is that correct or am I missing here correct information?
Thanks.

You can travel by carryying both old and new passports. If you want to get the visa ticket in your new passport, you have pay. So, if you wish you can pay otherwise just carry two passports, no trouble either way.. all info on the link below http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/while-in-uk/transfer-vi...

Passport expriring, how to get visa on new Passport?

Hi, My Passport is expiring in June 2011 whereas my tier 1 general will expire in Jan 2013. I am not intending to travel soon, but you never know, as your family may need you at any time. My questions are, after renewing the passport, 1- how do I get the visa on new passport? 2- Is there any link wh...
