Re: reply

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if that is the case you can expect your file to be referred to the Repatriation department. I know someone who was undocumented, got married and applied to Spouse of Irish National Dept for residency. All that happened was that after waiting for six months th...

Re: reply

I think it depends on which department is dealing with it. They say that marriage to an Irish National does not grant automatic right to reside. So if one part is undocumented i would imagine they would have to refer it to the repatriation department first. Have you been told which department is de...

By the lack of replies it would lead me to believe there are not that many applications for stamp 4 on the basis of marriage to an Irish national (and the applicant being undocumented).

Here's hoping anyway. Hopefully we don't have much longer to wait.

Just bumping my old thread to see has anyone recently got approval for spouse of Irish national (having previously been undocumented)? If so, how long did it take? Almost waiting 4 months. Really hope it's not much longer. I know they say it can take up to 12 months, but if they can process a citiz...

Re: Happy Christmas everyone!

Here's to all our immigration woes to be sorted in 2012, inshallah. This board would be so sad and lonely if all the immigration woes were sorted out. Lets just hope that the government's difficultly in processing immigration applications is all sorted out in 2012! That's true. Ok, i'll be a little...

What nationality is your current spouse? Is your child an Irish citizen? If so, you may have a case under Zambrano. If they have refused you on the basis of insufficient funds etc you have to prove to them that you have enough funds to support yourself and your family. If your spouse is reliant on s...

1. To get married to someone who has a legal stay in Ireland. Though I'm not sure but I told the person that the court will require that they file an application and that both of them should be legally resident in Ireland You obviously advised him on the matter seeing as you informed him that he wo...

To clarify, if your wife intends to work in the UK and does not have an employment visa, you will have to move to the UK with her. 1) You will need to apply for an EEA Family Permit from the British Embassy in Dublin in order to enter the UK legally. Firstly, to do this, you need to exhaust all the courts in the UK and then from the Supreme Court it would be appealed to the European Court. This can ta...
