Re: Irish Scams

IT IS MEANT FOR ADVISING PEOPLE, NOT CRITICISING IMMIGRANTS AND PROVIDING STATISTICS If Irish Tom or someone else thinks a marriage is sham, he shouldn't advise because in that case, he would be advising how to dodge the system. In other words, advising how to commit a crime which itself is a crime...

Re: Irish Scams

Why are so few deportation orders issued? Why are so few enforced? Why are 90% of asylum seekers refused refugee status yet issued with leave to remain? There are deportation orders issued every day! The majority are not in the media because it causes problems then for the government because they t...

Then hes no more an asylum seeker than I am. Hes an economic migrants using the asylum route to get into this country. There are bill...

Re: CITIZENSHIP DO AND DON'TS

Heres another to add to your list, if you are a naturalised citizen and not born an Irish citizen, please do not use facial terminology to describe us Irish people. But we are Irish people, Irish Tom. What else would you like non-irish to call us? Paddys, drunkards...?? I think "Irish People" is a ...

Re: Irish Scams

You are spouting pure unadultarated nonsense. Why were only 500 work permits issued to Nigerians, yet circa 20,000 of them are registered with social welfare? think you have your statistics wrong there Irish Tom. If you check CSO, you will see that there are only circa 38,000 AFRICANS (so thats not...

Are you saying that EU citizens have more rights in this regard, compared to Irish citizens? Yeah, I have been googling this like mad, and yes it looks like EU people living in Ireland, have more rights than Irish. This really annoys me, I am an EU person too so i dont understand why I cant avail o...

Re: :)

We owe foreigners nada, zilch, feck all. I speak for the majority of my people. We are fed up of the foreign invasion. U say we owe them nothing, but i am sure u would b**ch about it if you were in a foreign country and they treated you the way "foreigners" are treated here! And you can't say you s...

Re: :)

Well said, I am an Irish citizen, but my Fiance is a non-national. I second your objection to the crackdown and control on immigrants. Immigrants are treated like SH*T in this country and it sickens me and makes me ashamed to be Irish. For all they contributed to this country in the boom, and now t...

...please support this and make your statement clear to one and all. Nope, sorry. I will not support this or anything else designed to "crack down" or "control" any immigrants, be that legal or illegal. Because most probably it will make the life of legal immigrants harder by introducing the need f...

I am afraid, but your husband will have to apply to INIS for his permission to remain as a spouse of irish national following the wedding, as he currently has no stamp and permission in the country. if he was on stamp 1, 2, 3 or 4 at the moment, then it would be changed straight away to stamp 4 as ...

Thanks everyone

A residence card will not be given to the spouse of the OP, since neither he nor the OP shall be resident in Ireland in accordance with EC law. Rather, the spouse of the OP should be granted permission to reside in Ireland as the spouse of an Irish citizen and be issued with a GNIB Certificate of R...

Heya, thanks for the replies. You said something about EU treaty rights, what is that? And does it apply to me as I am an Irish Citizen, i have never lived anywhere but Ireland.

So to clarify, after we get married, we apply for EU treaty right, where do we apply for that, do we go to GNIB?
