Our case worker took all our documents and picked out the ones he required.
He was pretty thorough and I suppose it also depends on the case worker you get and what kind of mood he/she is in? :D

JJ, You don't need to photocopy anything, they copy the documents they choose to use for the application. We arranged our documents in 3 folders, 2008, 2009 & 2010. Take plenty of proof of living together as they put great emphasis on this aspect of the application. Good luck when the big day arrive...

Security check - like an airport-approx 10mins 3. Basic application screening - took 10 mins. They check you ha...

I work for non UK based company but my salary is paid into a UK High street bank. Basically I work offshore on a 28/28 rotation, that is 28 days on & 28 days off. All my off time is spent in the UK and I have everything in order to prove co-habitation, i.e. Council tax bills, tennacy agreement, uti...

ILR under SET(M) advice required please

Is it true that applying for ILR under SET(M) the emphasis is mainly on proving that you're still married and living together? I've been reading many threads on the forum dealing with different types of ILR applications and a lot of them seem to requiure details of financial history, i.e. payslips, ...

I was told over the phone by the HO that all appointment slots were booked at Croydon PEO up to the 7th April. Then low and behold I got an online booking for 17th March the same day :o I realise that you need a booking before the 14th March, but honestly keep trying, you might be pleasantly surpris...

Nomaps, Keep trying online, especially evenings between 6 & 8 pm. You will probably with a bit of luck get a booking? Alternatively call the HO for an appointment at any of the 6 UK PEO offices. Call at 8:59 am on the dot and you will get throught to a human being after about 5 minutes. Good luck an...

You should get a confirmation email with a ref number, don't know how long this takes, but if I were you I'd wait until receipt of this confirmation b4 cancelling your Cardiff appointment.
You could also call the HO and explain the situation, they should be able to sort you out over the phone

All, I called the HO today and got it from the "horses mouth" so to speak. In my case, my wifes application for ILR on SET(M) needs to be submitted 28 days (no earlier) before her 2 year qualifiying period ends. She entered the UK on 11th April 2008 so naturally her qualifying period ends on 11th Ap...

Thanks to all the good advice on this thread I've managed to hit lucky and get an appointment for w/c 15th March at Croydon PEO. It took a lot of patience and perseverance at different times of the day but eventually it paid off.
Let's hope the appointment goes smoothly?

M,
We'll keep on trying and maybe have some luck :?:

Do you have a different contact number to call, other than the 0870 (general enquiries)?

Hopefully we might still see you there on 22 March?

Online premium appointments at PEO Croydon

Anybody got any advice on the best time of day to be online for when appointments are made available for SET(M) ILR? Seems that whenever I go online there are never any appointment slots available? I need to book an appointment for w/c 15th or 22nd March to put me within the 28 day window for applic...

Thanks Danbrix, Had a feeling this was the case. It's only 6 days outside the 28 day period, but I suppose it may as well be 6 weeks? Tried contacting HO by phone to verify but it's murder getting through to a human being. Tried re-arranging another appointment but nothing available.......yet????......
