its nearly 4 months , still no news from hmoffice though got COA in 3 weeks.

I think they are frozen again..... its frustrating now.

when did you first apply ,

i think it should not take more than 4 weeks if they want your apssport back.

i called homeoffice today to know any updates of my application..

i spoke to a lady , but she didnt let me know any updates ..

she told me i made application on 21 january,2010 ... as it is less than 6 months she isn't able to tell any updates , by law.

today i have called homeoffice to change my address. they asked my case ref num. the ref I got in COA they didnt find in their system . it is 9 digit num. the person said it cant be a case id number. so he asked my name, nationalty & dob. at last he gave a 8 digit ref number & changed to my new addr...

Well I just called the HO and spoke to a lady who says that our application has been allocated to a case team but it has not been given a case ID yet :roll: . today one of friend received residence permit after 4/5 months.
he made the application on 07/10/2009

so i think it takes normally 4-6 months in average not less than this. some people saying here they got rc in 5 weeks -- thats all bull-sheet i can say.
