A way to legally circumvent new immigration rules

I think vinny mentioned this already, but all is not lost for BRITISH citizens (not ILR holders). It involves certain inconvenience and a move abroad but is still better than new rules. Brits can simply go to another EU state (it will be easier and FREE to take your wife/dependent parents/children w...

If they had said no and an appeal was undertaken, how many months before an answer? And at what cost in time effort and money?? Appeals under EEA regulations are FREE of charge, as far as I'm concerned. If the court finds UKBA acted unreasonably and could have easily decided in favour of the applic...

Re: Retention of rights/and BC

1. What application form do i fill to retain rights? You fill out the same EEA2 form, have a look at it from the UKBA website 2. what do i get issued with? another 5yr residence card? You will get the same residence card which ridiculously still says "family member" etc but you must ensure you get ...

Thank you, mcovet! Thanks a lot. I will reapply and file a claim, but actually I hope a good cover letter will settle the matter and won't have to take further steps. I have already missed the trip to Canary Islands because the HO sent my first application back (and we lost money for the plain tick...

Now, a couple of words about your attitude. It looks like you just need to express your irritation and hatred to immigrants in one or another way. I remember your other posts, you know. Change your attitude, try to make sense in your posts or go climb a tree. Unfortunate combination of phrases ther...

hey nimitta, i hear your pain. firstly, ignore that troll above, waste of space he is. secondly, as everyone knows, the Ho cannot lay down any specific docs they require to prove this or that fact. so, resubmit the whole application with the covering letter saying you want to proceed on the basis of...

it does seem complicated and you would definitely need to consult more than one specialist and pay money for it, barristers normally charge a lot, but good ones know what they're talking about. In my personal view, you are getting at possible discrimination against the Turks. However, discrimination...

call the tribunal and ask for advice on how to enforce their judgement. This is the only way I can think of so that the UKBA have a court order giving them an X amount of days to comply with their judgement.

you are right, threaten them with legal action in writing! and if they fail to respond within 21 days, issue a claim in a county court on form N1 I think. It is straightforward, but when they see you mean business they will process your application.
