For proof of previous earnings statements from May 2011 to April 2012 will be fine. But for maintenance the requirement is to show a minimum balance of 800 during the 90 days prior to your application & the last statement should be dated no earlier than one calendar month from the application date....

you get appointments only till 42 days from the day you login. keep trying after midnight or early in the morning say 5 am.

Slots open and close as many applicants login post midnight

Give only evidences they ask for Bank statements and salary slips. P60 is a the same evidence as pay slips. if slary claimed is within a tx period.

Best option is to appeal. We got a decision reverted after 1 month from the appeal, we appealed within 15 days of the date we recived the refusal letter.

A very good friend of mine is working as a doctor here in India. He was in UK for 10 yrs till 2003.

Exceptions:-

1. You cannot work in Govt jobs
2. Buy any Agricultural land.

We got the visa stamped on 21st September and validity from that date.

Appealed on 5th August at BDHC Mumbai
Approval letter for visa grant - 26th August
Sent passport for visa vignette - 6th September
Received visa and original documents - 28th September

the job market here in the UK is decent. Hiring is too slow , plus there are plenty of C++ people getting interviewed, but not hired fast.

Do you plan to resign from your present job and come here to look around?

I'd suggest take a sabbatical for 3 months, come here and check it out.
