I had thought so as well since it asks for HO reference number but doesn't mention anywhere on the page that is only for in-process applications. The actual form just says Use this form to tell us about a change to your UK address or other important details we hold about you. So looks like it is a g...

Since it is a PEO appointment, for a straight forward application you can expect decision on the same day or within 2 days at the latest if any issues with biometrics. So no need to mention address change.

After that you can use this link to notify address change

For a dependant spouse, the maintenance fund requirement for the spouse can be maintained in the dependants account ie the funds need not be in your account only.

But I believe you would need atleast £900 in your account to satisfy the main applicant's maintenance fund requirements

That is a very strange policy! 3 months is too short a period, most banks show online statements for 2 years. Payslips, P60,Employer letter will be considered as a single source so you do need the bank statements. Don't see any way out other than cancel the apptmt, wait for the online statements to ...

Biometrics letter - bar code error

After my successful PEO application for my visa extension, I had applied by post for my dependants. Received the Biometrics enrolment letter for 3 dependants and went to the post office. Biometrics went fine for 2 dependants but the bar code was not scanable for my younger kid. Was asked to contact ...

If ack letter not received, you can mention so in the cover letter and just mention the name and date of application

If it is only one dependant, the saving is £189, not worth the anxiety it could cause IMHO

Why not apply for your wife now, ie before 9th July? In any case you were planning to apply before your dependants arrive in 2013

How is the main applicant applying? PEO or Postal?

If PEO, reference number will be on the approval letter.

If postal, it will be on the acknowledgment letter.

1.Only one appointment is required
2. No, you cannot amend an appointment to add dependants, you can cancel and book a new appointment with the dependants. Out of curiousity, what is the use-case for this scenario?

You must have meant Aug 2012. This should not have any bearing on the time taken for the decision.

I wouldn't be so sure. What does Clause 47 imply then?

Applying separately is a mere technicality. It seems logical that one would need sufficient funds to sustain a family as a whole in the UK, irrespective of when the individual members apply.

Dependent can show his/her own personal funds OR it can be the main applicant's bank account, either would work. So should work for you if husband's(main appilcant) account has sufficient funds for the 90 days period. There is some confusion on how much maintenance is required though. Clause 47 of t...

I do not agree, in spite of example 1. Clause 45 of the guidance documnet says, He/she must show that he/she has £1800 for his spouse and a further £1800 for each child, in addition to £900 required for his/her own support This is straightforward since this is for dependant applications at the same ...
