@msk1977 - If you are applying by PEO, apply as soon as you have the reference number for your application; or if you can wait, till you receive your BRP(which is typically 3-4 days after the PEO appilcation for straight forward applciations)

No problem at all. when you say same bank statements, remember that bank statements need to be originals/stamp&signed. So hopefully you have 2 set of valid bank statements for the same period to be sent with the 2 different applications. Also, how much maintenance funds have you maintained and plann...

You can count the earnings for the period oct 2011 to sep 2012 and include your Oct 2011 earnings from India with direct conversion and without uplift. For sep 2012 earnings, depends when you are paid for the month and if you will have the payslip for sep 2012 and the amount reflected in the bank st...

Makes perfect sense. I had done the same. Also since the main applicant would have got extension, the dependants application will be processed much quicker than applying for both through post. So time wise as well the overall process for both applicants should take less time

user_name - Which rule are you talking about? The settlement criteria? If yes then depends on when you are going, before extending your leave or after? If before, then you will need entry clearance in March 2013 and most probably would fall under the 5 year rule for settlement If after, then no entr...

If applying at the same time, you can send the dependant application along with the main applicant in a single envelope.

For extension, marriage certificate is not required

If you need to show last months salary then you can apply in first week of december. I had applied through PEO 5 days before my leave was to end, so no issues at all in applying so close to the end date as long you have all the required evidences available. Especially so if you are employed, payslip...

The earnings need to be from a 12 month period. So you cannot use the 2nd Dec 2011 payslip since most of it it would be for 4 weeks falling outside the period you are claiming for. At the most, you can claim pro-rata for the first 2 days of dec 2011(assuming the pay is till 2nd Dec) and explain it i...

I had thought so as well since it asks for HO reference number but doesn't mention anywhere on the page that is only for in-process applications. Since it is a PEO appointment, for a straight forward application you can expect decision on the same day or within 2 days at the latest if any issues with biometrics. So no need to mention address change.

After that you can use this link to notify address change

For a dependant spouse, the maintenance fund requirement for the spouse can be maintained in the dependants account ie the funds need not be in your account only.

But I believe you would need atleast £900 in your account to satisfy the main applicant's maintenance fund requirements

That is a very strange policy! 3 months is too short a period, most banks show online statements for 2 years.
