Re: ILR Refused via Tier-1 General..Reapplying Questions

its not about SA320 or a P800 or a P60, If you earn £XX,XXX and show the same earnings to Home office, They expect you to pay taxes on the same. Its not rocket science.

Re: ILR Refused via Tier-1 General..Reapplying Questions

Tax and immigration are two different things, As a responsible person, who have to pay your taxes on time and not blame your accountant. When you are registered as a Self Employed person and register your company all guidelines must be followed. I have been saying this time and again, before applyin...

Re: First Entry and Absences for ILR

Coming to Uk for a job and going back after an offer is perfectly fine. I know many who were also in a similar position and were granted Settlement, as long as absences are within the 180 day limit.

Explaining this in a cover letter is more than enough!.

Re: Missing post related to Employment History

Hi sushdmehta, You are correct in saying that the policy guidance or any AN forms do not mention any of the document/ HMRC form names, But when you clearly see the AN guidance for self employed people a latest statement of SA is a must. Also when you submit a P60/P800 or a P2 ( tax coding letter) th...

Missing post related to Employment History

Hi Admins,

I had posted a thread on Employment History - List of Docs that can be submitted for BC/Naturalisation.

But that seems to have got deleted or missing.

It was useful info about P60/P800 and P2 letters.

Thanks,

Re: SET(O) - Section 12 for T1 (General) only

It does not matter whether you check 12L or NOT 12L , In both cases it makes sense.

I got my ILR 2 months back before selecting any in Section 12, except 12A

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Whether its 100 pounds or 1000 pounds, HO will not care, you declare everything thing you earn show to HO and pay the same and keep things accurate to the penny.

Re: ILR - Tax Discussions -

I have seen cases where amendments for 2011/12 since its past due date way back now can take 3-6 months, if its a minor correction that is. For tax years 2012/13 it can take between 9 -12 weeks ( 3 months). For tax years 2013/14 amendment is possible till 31st Jan 2016. For major amendments HMRC wil...

No one knows what the HO case worker will see , since the extension is past now, they will see whatever income in a tax period say e.g April 6th 2012 - April 5th 2013 - 20K was shown to them whether the tax and NI (class2)OR, class 1A from payslips has been declared correctly to HMRC or not. in your...

https://www.gov.uk/estimate-self-assessment-penalties

Follow this link and enter the details, and then see, when you enter the tax year and amount of tax you owe and see what figure comes out!

Its appalling that you dont even make the effort to find out how much penalty and interest is to be paid?

naveid wrote:Any accountant here who can guess the final figure plz :(

Its very simple.. Depending on tax years behind, you will have to pay a penalty of atleast 1600 pounds per year and if tax is more than that atleast 3000 pounds and TAX for what you owe

Re: deception ILR refused

I don't understand why do you people muck around with taxes and not pay them on time and correctly?

Next year its going to be an offence if taxes are not paid on time, and for Naturalization this will be checked and scrutinized thoroughly.
