I will be sending my wife's EEA4 tomorrow if she finds her photos today ;) It's shocking to see 6 month waiting time for something that is just a proof of people's PR. My wife's application seems straightforward - me EU citizen living in the UK since 2004, with PR since 2010, BC in December 2012 - m...

Re: EEA4 for my wife

Does she need to send all my P60 to UKBA or will my Permanent Residence Card be enough? If yes, does she also need to send my WRS certificate from 2004 and EEA1 RP from 2005? No need to send the evidence again. You can just send your PR Confirmation card. If more than 2 years passed since its issue...

EEA4 for my wife

My wife wants to apply for Permanent Residence Card through EEA4 and I have a few questions.. I obtained my PR card through EEA3 in 2010, currently I'm in the process of becoming a British Citizen. Anyway my wife is in no rush to apply for her BC but she would like some form of proof of her permanen...

Hi Mordoklej I applied through NCS on 24th aug 2012 and I received the same letter like yours few weeks ago and when i called the local council, they told me that they will call me and arrange the ceremony date and will send the ceremony confirmation date which they did to me last week. I think as l...

My local County Council told me my ceremony date once I told them my name, post code and Home Office reference number from the letter. They also told me that they would send the confirmation of that by post. But from what I read above it seemed like the ceremony invitation was supposed to come from...

The only change is that as British citizen you will be entitled to vote. Next time they send you an electoral register form to your address (they do every year) just correct your nationality.

And that's it.

I wouldn't bother with telling banks or DVLA unless you apply for new accounts/credit etc.

I'm a bit confused with posts above... I've got a letter from UKBA saying my application has been aproved. In the same letter they ask me to contact my local authority within 21 days to arrange the british citizenship ceremony. They have not sent any invitation with date and time for me to attend to...

I believe she has permanent residence. When she applied, she should have used EEA 4 for confirmation of her PR status as opposed to EEA 2. Oh ok.. Then she doesn't need to do anything. Cool. I guess my EEA3 + her P60s are enough proof of her permanent residence. Next step BC then.. She will skip EE...

Ok for those interested in processing time at the moment. I'm Polish my wife is South Korean. We've been married for over 7 years. I've been living and working in the UK since 2004, she's been living and working here since 2005. My wife's 5 year family visa was to expire in December 2010. She decide...

I hoped for quicker response to be honest. My wife's family visa expires in December 2010 and I wanted her to send EEA4 form once my EEA3 is sorted. But now I think she will just send EEA2 to have it sorted before December. God knows how long it's going to take so the sonner her application is recei...

People get letters so quickly that I'm worried now. I sent my EEA3 over 8 weeks ago (over 50 days) and no letter so far. My application was sent my Royal Mail Special Delivery, and when I tracked it on RM website it says it was delivered. Any possibility it was not or that letter from them was lost?...
